Many people don't know where they should focus their efforts on LinkedIn. Should they post content? Connect with others? Or should they start commenting on peoples' posts? All of these are important. But before you do any of this, I believe your priority should be to get your profile completed with impactful information.

Many employers use testing before employment to screen applicants so that only the best-qualified move on in the process as determined by the company. The types of testing that an applicant may be asked to complete are numerous. They can be anything from testing your knowledge, critical thinking skills, personality, integrity, and even physical skills like the ability to lift a certain amount of weight.

Whether you quit without having another position is an individual decision, and the choice has to be the right one for you, based upon your circumstances.

Make sure you have a job search strategy first before you worry about the right tactics. Otherwise, you might never be able to reach your goal.

I do not foresee one-way video interviewing going away any time soon. Employers are always looking for ways to make their recruitment process more efficient, and if they feel this type of interview brings value, they will adopt it.

The purpose of the resume (or CV) is to get you an interview. So, how many pages your resume should be will depend on the information needed to help the reader decide if they want to interview you. That is why there is no magic number.

Don’t just focus on hard skills in your resume. The reader, either a recruiter or hiring manager, wants to understand everything that you can bring of value. Smart recruiters and hiring managers know that while hard skills can get you an interview, your soft skills will often get you the job offer. So make sure you are emphasizing both on your resume.

So many people are unhappy with their current work situation. They didn’t want to make a move during the pandemic, but, at least in the US, the pandemic’s effects seem to be lessening. Many people are now considering making a job switch.
